Welcome to Meridian Beach

The Meridian Beach Homeowners Society is a non-profit organization established for residents of Meridian Beach to allow member investment in the lasting value of an exceptional community that embraces lakeside living and a true sense of community spirit.

ABOUT THE HOMEOWNERS SOCIETY

The Meridian Beach Homeowners Society (MBHS) is registered as a non-profit organization under the Alberta Societies Act.

MBHS oversees the preservation of our community, including maintenance and enhancement of the Meridian Beach community’s shared amenities and hosting year-round events and programs for community members. Community amenities include the hall facility, grounds, tennis and basketball courts, bridges, pavilions, pathways, canal, beaches, washrooms, and common areas.

An annual encumbrance fee is charged to lot owners to maintain these amenities.

Active involvement in the MBHS is an excellent way to meet fellow homeowners and a way of building community pride and connection among residents.

Community Development

Meridian Beach is a year-round lakeside community on the northeast side of Gull Lake, one of the largest and most picturesque of Alberta’s lakes. The development has dramatic features, including a canal, bridges, and pavilions that set it apart.

The community also has four pavilions (large gazebos), three bridges, two boat launches, two public beaches, two full-size playgrounds and sports facilities including tennis, pickleball, badminton, basketball, beach volleyball, and baseball.  There is an abundance of green space and multiple walking paths throughout the community.

MBHS Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is a group of dedicated homeowners who volunteer time to run the Society. A set of by-laws govern how the Society and Board operate.

The Board, and its volunteer committees, play an essential role in the successful management and operation of our community and plan events for our members throughout the year. The Board meets regularly and hosts an Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the fall.
